Technology is all around us, and children of all ages can use it. We can use technology to enhance our literacy, math, science, and social studies curriculum in the classroom. Students need to have more opportunities to use these amazing tools and the Kindle Fires would give my students those opportunities. The students would be able to read various books on their level, access math sites to improve their skills, do research, and enhance their knowledge. These Kindle Fires would be used by all students at different times of the day. The tablets will be used for research in Science and to complete interactive math activities. We have limited technology in our classroom. When we complete activities the students use their own devices. The problem I encounter is that not all students have a device. If our project gets funded, it will help us integrate technology into our daily lives. Having technology will ensure my lessons are engaging for all my students.
