The atlases and paper will make learning so much easier, because I won't have to continue copying my personally owned atlas. I know that there are a great deal of maps and tools online, but my students learn a great deal from being able to hold the map in their hands, mark on it, and see places easier than on a screen. Also, by copying pages, students struggle to use map keys correctly due to not seeing the various colors. My students must be able to explore places all over the world, especially in terms of population, climate, resources, economics, and type of government.
