In my classroom my students are constantly learning academic vocabulary and increasing their comprehension. Their daily work consists of listening, speaking, and writing the English language to become fluent readers and citizens. In our classroom every minute counts so we use different ways to learn because each child learns differently. Using technology, textbooks, and co-operative groups to enhance their learning are tidbits of the variety of ways to keep my students engaged. My school is more than 75% free and reduced lunch and has a high needs population. These stools will allow them to stay engaged and motivated while continuing their rigorous daily curriculum to eventually succeed on the Texas Staar. The many ways these students continue to grow as readers can only bring a better future.
