I have 5 grades in my classroom and some of the time, together. As I am the only teacher, it has come with the challenges of making sure each individual student has their needs addressed. I would like to integrate technology via Google Docs, IXL and Ascend Math. Much of students' work would be uploaded, completed, and graded in Google Docs. This technology will also allow me to embed verbal directions, that they can play whenever they need it, as well as passage reading, for my struggling readers. However, many of my students will be unable to fully immerse themselves with the content, because they do not have access to headphones that will allow them to listen to audio. Ideally these headphones would be over their ears, to block out distraction. I would like to be able to keep a class set of headphones in my classroom for students to use throughout the day.
