These flexible seats will allow my students to get the wiggles out while they work. I do not have a lot of options and students often get restless and off task when just simply sitting at their desks. With the bean bags and balls, students can grab a flexible chair and an appropriate spot around my classroom to get down to business on their assignment. Studies have shown that movement, when associated with learning, helps keep the blood pumping and students focus on the task given. Classroom sizes are very large in Indiana. Also, with so many student's minds elsewhere, these seats would give the children the opportunity to spread out and be less distracted.
