My students have special needs and require supplies to accommodate these needs.. Many cannot focus with outside stimuli and need headphones to learn. By not having headphones, they will focus on what is going on in the classroom instead of their studies. They also need mice to help them effectively navigate computers. Many of my students have physical needs and require a mouse to use a laptop. Without these tools at their disposal, my students will be unable to reach their potential in terms of academic progression. My students are also in need of PE and playground equipment as ours has been lost, stolen or are in such bad shape it can no longer be used. Their ability to get physical exercise and practice social interaction is severely limited without these much needed supplies. My students need to practice teamwork, appropriate behavior with others, and imaginative play.
