These books will be used for a multitude of projects in our class. We are always doing some type of animal, habitat, fossil, or creature study. These books are so colorful, engaging, and fun for students...they do not even realize how much they are reading! The vocabulary they pick up while looking at the pictures is amazing, too! Our major focus for our second language learners this year is increasing vocabulary, so we level our kids for a portion of the day accordingly. These books will not only be used in my homeroom for science, but in ELD groups as well!
