The resources I chose for this project reflect my students' diverse interests and needs. In my classroom (and school-wide) we are focused on increasing student literacy. A huge part of this is providing books that students actually WANT to read. Each book I have requested is popular with young adults, and even more importantly, reflects the interests of my diverse students. Supporting this project means that my students have more opportunities to make meaning of the world and their own experiences through reading. Help my students foster their love of reading. A good book can change a life and inspire the next generation.
