Hurricane Ida did a significant number on our school. Many teachers, including myself, were forced to move classrooms. Students in my classroom no longer have the comfort and luxuries that I previously had. My students LOVED my old classroom, and I was devastated to find that they no longer could learn in that environment any longer. This opportunity will help my students and me feel more comfortable and engaged during math class. These products will help my efficiency as a teacher and bring some normalcy back into the lives of my students, many of whom have recently suffered significant devastation at home. A feeling of ease and comfort will be brought by the use of my treats and prizes. These products will allow for my students to be creative and receive thoughtful and specific instruction and feedback. Students will enjoy the new additions to our class as they grow and develop this school year. Supplies such as folders and laminating pouches will help me enrich my strong students. My new advanced math group will benefit from the use of these items to help them excel even more in Eureka math. Dual laptop screen will help me when planning amazing math lessons. I will be able to better utilize resources provided by school and the curriculum. A magnetic whiteboard will allow me more workspace to hang anchor charts and offer supplementary examples and even some tips and tricks!
