I currently teach in a Title I school. I find that it is my job to reach all of my students by equipping and empowering them to be productive citizens. I have twenty boys and five girls in my class. My class is evenly divided with African American and Caucasian students. I have eight students who receive academic support from another teacher and three students who receive RTI pull out services. Two of my students are on a behavior plan to help their learning. My students are energetic, full of life, and always working. My classroom is full of diversity. I pride myself in having a classroom environment that is great for learning while being comfortable. Students are free to move around the room to learn as well as sit in cooperative learning groups for support.
