The students in my class enjoy coming to school and learning. They find the classroom to be a safe and enjoyable way to spend their time. The school attendance consists primarily of minority ethnicities and about half of the residents in the community are living below the poverty level. Most of the students do not have board games at home. They are missing out on the fun associated with board games as well as the ability to follow directions and strengthen their teamwork skills. I teach in an ICTS class. This means that 40% of the students are special education students and 60% of the students are general education students. The students learn a lot from their interactions with each other.
