As a first year teacher, I lack many of the resources and materials that can benefit my students' learning. I teach in a resource setting, which means I work with many different kids in multiple subjects. My diverse learners need differentiated instruction to best access the content, compete in the global market, and achieve their full potential. Many of my students do not have computers or internet access at home, making it nearly impossible for them to learn skills needed for their future. The addition of Chromebooks to my classroom would give my students the chance to navigate technology, complete research projects, and engage in intensive math and reading interventions designed for their needs.
