When children are exposed to exciting and engaging projects, they learn better! The Stem and Engineering kits that we are asking for are way to make that happen for the children in my TK class today and for years to come! I am planning on using these kits on a weekly basis to encourage the love of science and exploration! These kits will give the students the opportunity to work together in teams to problem solve, design, and discover! The National Science Teachers Association believes that inquiry and science must be a basic in the daily curriculum of every elementary school student at every grade level. They stress the importance of early experiences in science so that students develop problem-solving skills that empower them to participate in an increasingly scientific and technological world. Unfortunately the public school district provides our TK teachers with very little science materials needed for our students to learn best with. Your donation will help make it possible for all of my students, with a variety of learning styles and from a diverse population to have first-hand exploration and investigation and inquiry experiences for years to come! And with this, together, we can improve student achievement and an interest in science for my students today and in the future!
