I teach in a high native population. My students are in second grade. I am a very structured teacher who is hands on and loves learning with my students. I make use of my teaching resources to teach the best way I can. I love reading and highly motivate my students to read. I even allow my students to check out my personal library books and love the trust I can have in such little people. I have always been blesses with kind kids and a lot of that is due to how I interact with them myself. I use ma'am and sir with my students. They learn that respect is given and received and come to do it naturally. I focus intentionally on communication with the parents and love how we can work together to help learning thrive in my room. I use a color and grammar, and art to help make my room memorable and invitingly for my students.
