My gifted students love to devour new books and often are searching out new stories to engage them! Having a variety of genres at challenging reading levels will help each of them grow, while finding stories they connect with. For my students finding new books can at times be challenging with the main county library being a 20 minute drive or more. Students will use the texts to engage in meaningful classroom discussions and seminars. Expanding my classroom library with a variety of genres will engage my students in group activities that resonate with them and help them to grow as readers.
