Mathematics is a course that builds upon itself. If you struggle with Algebra 1, then it would seem you will also struggle with Algebra 2. This can get extremely frustrating for students. Frustrated students will often act out, shut down, or ultimately drop out. I am converting a storage room into a small group instruction space. This white board will help me deliver math instruction to at-risk students. These students have previously failed at least one math course. This will help students with learning gaps succeed in the math classroom, recover the credit they previously lost and graduate on time.
