Students will be learning tolerance and empathy through literature that challenges the "American Dream". Please help provide novels for my students to engage in literature. Elie Wiesel's account of the holocaust is a powerful tool to prevent history from repeating. Steinbeck, Fitzgerald, and Bradbury contribute to materials needed in high school ELA. Due to COVID restrictions, students cannot share materials. I do not have enough copies for all of my students. The books will be used in the traditional classroom unless Covid shuts down traditional learning. Students will use novels to foster dialogue and written responses throughout the class.
