I have asked for two items, learning tubs and the CD player for our listening center. I have been wanting learning tubs for my students because my students need exposure to visuals. It will be easier for my students to learn vocabulary when they can relate it to a visual. The tubs have different items for each letter and it could be used in many different ways in our classroom. I could teach them as a whole class and it can also be used in a small group at a center. My students will be excited to learn with the learning tubs and the listening center. The listening center will help them become exposed to many different genres of books. They will have the opportunity to hear stories, poems and songs.
