We are currently using tables and chairs, and a local church graciously opened its doors to us. These desks would give the students their own space and a place to store all of their personal items. It would also give us a sense of normalcy. These desks will serve our students for years to come. One of my favorite quotes is "Never stop learning because life never stops teaching". These students have taught me that no matter what life throws at you, as a school family we can come together and turn it into a positive. Harvey may have taken our desks and school, but it has also taught us many lessons. Never stop learning.
