Welcome to my class page. I love teaching, and my diverse group of 9 to 11 year-old students loves to get excited about learning. I provide them with lessons in which they can be active and have fun while learning. I especially enjoy introducing my students to the wonders of the natural world, and in the process plant a seed that may develop into the idea of a future career in a science or math- related field. They attend a diverse suburban school with an increasing population of English language learners. When they are in my class and after they leave, my hopes are for them to have fond memories, a love of learning, and be productive citizens of the community. What more could a teacher ask for?
