My students, with these dictionaries, will learn new words and develop a greater understanding of the English language. My students are all of Native American decent, and while they value their culture, it is important for them to be able to function and live in "both worlds". They want to honor their culture and traditions, however, they also want to be productive members of today's society that is fast-paced and based in technology. My students have high aspirations and goals; they understand the importance of a good education and strive to work hard, grow, and learn all that they can.
