Instead of the students following us, let's keep up with them! Technology plays such a key role in reaching our students. With devices on hand the children will be able to use these devices during centers to take AR tests then use different apps and websites such as Starfall.com to play literacy and mathematics games associated with the skills that are being taught in class. They will also be able to use the devices as an enrichment resource to further their knowledge on a wide range of subject areas. For example, we are studying how animals protect their young. They will be able to do an enrichment of this standard by using the technology to research animals. I am requesting an iPad along with headphones for student use. We also need a mouse for our computer.
