Our project focuses on giving food to the students at our school. A school project is called Blessings for Backpacks. It focuses on giving food to our students, but sometimes we need more food than the items we have. We want to get vegetables that we locally grow in our schools greenhouse to add to our menu. This will help our school get better food to the people at our school who need it most. We can get green and grow the food that our school program needs. we are not afraid to get our hands dirty. We will pursue this project and continue to pass it down year after year. We got the potting soil, vegetable seeds, and plastic pots to grow the food at our school's greenhouse. We will grow the vegetables and eventually send them home to the students in the classroom and the whole school. It will help give our students more energy and better food for their lives. The students will benefit greatly from this change in our programs menu.
