My students come to our program from several areas within the district. Each child is a unique individual, each with the potential to reach a high level of learning. Our classroom contains five grade levels, with many developmental levels and "differentbilities." Some of the students are functioning at a low cognitive level, while others are functioning in the low to average range; some of my students are verbal, while others are not. They love to come to school, knowing it is a safe place to play and learn. Our classroom is their future, their chance to learn about their world and prepare for independence, the chance to thrive with their "differentbilities."
