My students are hardworking, caring, and enthusiastic children. They love science and learning about the world in which they live. They also greatly enjoy learning about computer science and coding. The students are an impressive bunch with skills and attitudes beyond their years. The children are faced with many challenges including socioeconomic disadvantages, displacement, trauma and violence in their community. Many of the students have special needs and/or are learning the English language. Regardless of all their hardships and challenges they come to school every day with positive, can-do attitudes. Please help me to improve my instruction and enrich their classroom experience.
