These materials will be used in a number of ways to make a difference in the classroom. One way these will make a difference is by exciting the children. The children in my class will be able to create Google Slides, Docs, and other activities to print and display around the school. This will better engage the students in their learning and help them grow as students. These materials will also help parents see what their students are capable of and understand what their child is doing every day at school. We will print student work as a response to reading. Students will create Google slides on book characters, do book reports, and create other types of responses to reading. After creating these on their computers, we will be able to print their products for display. Students will use Google docs to type two paragraph essays and we will print and file these writings in classroom books. These classroom books will allow the students opportunities to read each others' writing and discuss together. Finally, the printer will allow for students to print informational text and fiction stories to read and research. Students will be allowed to print research related to various topics, such as endangered animals, The Solar System, and book authors. After printing their research, students will use what they printed to create endangered animal informational posters, Solar System projects, and book author class presentations. As a teacher, I will be able to show the school community my students' work in a friendly and presentable way.
