We are requesting high interest Spanish books which will enrich students love for reading. Students in my class have demonstrated their desire to learn and be in school. These Spanish books will begin to build our classroom library and engage students in reading even more. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, these books will help my students grow even more as readers. Yes, a great picture book can help us laugh, but it can also show us ourselves in different ways. They show us how we are all different on the outside, and how we should celebrate those differences. Then they also help us see that we ALL go through tough times, but there is always a lesson to be found in those tough situations. With these books, I will be able to give my students rich lessons that will lead them to success in academics as well as life. This project will also help my students foster a love for reading that sometimes is lacking.
