Having Google Chromebooks will allow my students to travel the globe in letters, words, poetry, in fiction and non-fiction. Many of my students have yet to set foot outside of their neighborhood, city or even the state. I recall my own experiences growing up in poverty, never even leaving my household, but always looking up to the stars dreaming of a far away land. I know my students will explore far away lands not just looking up at the stars, but seeing it on a Chromebook or tablet, seeing the world in living color & real time. Travel today, no suitcase needed!
