We need 13 exercise ball chairs that allow them to move while learning. Movement is an important part of any classroom, but especially in a special needs classroom. Many students need to move somehow in order to focus and I want to provide them with this learning opportunity. "Experts say subconscious mental activity lies at the core of the science behind the ball's success. Dr. John Ratey, a Harvard University professor agrees. "The tiny movements kids make to stay balanced stimulate their brains and help them focus." (Independent School Management) This type of chair will allow my students to focus and retain more information by helping them in an area that they struggle.
