This school year, I currently have 135 diverse students that come through my classroom everyday for 50 minutes. That 50 minutes we spend together is different every class period, everyday. This is probably the BEST part of my job! The only thing that stays the same is that everything changes. My kids brighten my day and make me laugh endlessly. In return, I try to create a classroom environment that is actively engaging by transforming my room into a theme that corresponds with our current content unit (currently a hospital and we all go by Dr. (insert name here)). This makes learning not only fun but relevant to everyday life. My goal is for my students to spend most of their time in my classroom getting their hands dirty and learning through tactile activities, lab experiments, and games!
