During this time of virtual learning we have had to assign many virtual labs to try and master the techniques of scientific studies. The virtual labs have been very helpful, but my students learn much better when engaging in real life experiences. The compound microscopes give my students hands on experience and knowledge to carrying with them as they continues to advance their skills for their high school careers. Having this knowledge before high school gives them a leg up in being prepared for future science classes. The more skills that my students receive in 8th grade science the better prepared they will be for their futures in education.

About my class
