Flex-space learning environments are extremely important to a comfortable, effective home-school classroom environment. Students in home school programs have the freedom to do work where they choose, whether it be the kitchen counter, the living room couch, or on the grass in their backyard. Since our home school program moved from a classroom with storage, to a portable with four walls, we will need comfortable and organized storage space to make our classroom feel like a home. That is my goal this year since I have a new classroom space to work with - to have their classroom feel as comfortable as their home. In order to do that, we need multi-purpose furniture that organizes materials as well as allows for seating space.
