My students at Sanchez Elementary are "What Excellence Looks Like". My scholars qualify for free/reduced lunch and 50% are ESL students. The goal at Sanchez is to prepare our students to compete and succeed in the 21st century. Many of the students do not have access to computers, internet and other necessary technology in their homes. This school year has been a unique one because our scholars experience one of the worst horrific floods caused by hurricane Harvey. Many of our scholars were displaced loosing everything they owned. With these obstacles and challenges our Sanchez Eagles come to school everyday ready learn and take on the world. I am hoping to hear from some generous donors help us rebuild our school. We are as Resilient as our World Series Houston Astros continue to work hard to be the best scholars we can be.
