I teach a diverse group of sixth grade students from a low-income neighborhood. Most of the students have parents who must work long hours or multiple jobs to provide students' basic needs. As a result, students often cannot purchase items that would be ideal for completing classroom projects. Through this venue, it is my hope, that students will receive support for resources that are intended to foster engagement and academic achievement.

About my class
