Having a trauma- informed classroom, students will truly enjoy the soothing seating arrangements, proactive circle discussions, morning rituals with discussion starters and building positive relationships. I would like to add an extension to our classroom such as a futon couch set and an area rug. These items would be conducive to helping students with special needs and behavioral disorders developing reading, comprehension and writing skills. I am asking for your support in purchasing items to place into the our classroom. As their teacher, I want to build a suitable learning atmosphere for them to find their success and potential. Thank you!
