Since our only reading resource is an outdated basal reader, I like to reproduce engaging text from resources such as The Comprehension Toolkit so that students use metacognitive thinking by interactively writing and responding on the text. Appealing text invites even tentative readers to dive in. Quality reproductions engage readers! With this all-in-one printer, I can make individual copies for targeted small group and reteaching on the spot. I can provide that extra copy I didn't have. I can create colorful reproductions of student work and teacher modeled examples. With your generous assistance, my fifth grade team will have access to a laser printer and copier! Thank you!
