Props for storytelling will help bring the story to life. Our students will be more engaged and want to be involved by moving the puppets while reading. It will help promote language and understanding for both ELL students and our English speaking students as well. Our students are hands-on and learn through play. You can see the joy it brings to them when they finally understand what is going on in a story with visuals. Visuals will extend their vocabulary and comprehension skills. Having these storytelling kits, and instruments will help our classroom explore their curiosities and stimulate their growth. We want our students to build social skills and these materials are the perfect way to get them to interact and talk to one another.
