Not every student has an android phone where they can test the apps they create. Therefore, by getting these Fire 7 Tablets, my students can create the code on the desk top computers that we have in the classroom and test the apps on these tablets. The students test the code they create on the desk top computer in the classroom. Subsequently, they test the code by using the tablet and scanning a QR Code symbol that they also create. Once this is completed, they can then test their creation. If it works, they have succeed and they can move on to create another app. If not, they go back to solve the problem by changing their code and retesting. Students learn multiple coding techniques and practice their critical thinking skills as they problem solve by creating their apps.
