In my classroom, we set goals for each student to achieve. These goals are based on each individual child's needs. We set them together looking at their work and deciding what area they need improvement. I want to use these books along side lessons, to encourage my students to never give up on a goal. For them to see what it feels like to accomplish a task after you've worked hard to get there. Even if it takes them longer than it might take other students. I want to use these books to instill grit in my students. For even in the future, or outside of school, they will not give up, instead they will work towards meeting their goals.
