I am going from high school to early elementary special education. While my new classroom is full of learning possibilities, there are a few items that are missing. I have learned how flexible seating can impact learning and gives the students a place of comfort during a stressful day. With your help, I can provide some flexible seating for them as well as some tools to help with the wiggles. Promoting independence is so important. The classroom has a set of lockers for 3 students. I would like to provide 2 more to have enough space for each student to come in and put away their belongings. Other ways to promote independence is to have a shared snack time. This will be like the traditional family mealtime where we can learn so many skills. There are a few needed products on the list to help with the classroom environment such as light covers and other sensory items. I truly appreciate your help! What a difference this program has made for so many teachers! Thank you!
