In order to become a family that is eager to learn and grow, my students need access to good books. They need access to books that inspire them to keep working towards their goals, and also books that can tell them great stories or teach them about our world. A great way to help students get excited about learning is to put great books all around them. This can be done with books such as The Fantastic Elastic Brain, which teaches that your brain is always growing as you learn and make mistakes. We will also learn about many exciting creatures in our world as we read the National Geographic books. Other great books I would love to add to our class library are As Do Unto Others: A Book About Manners, Mistakes That Worked, and The Most Magnificent Thing. We will be working to become a family that loves working hard to learn new things. These books will be a valuable tool for us in achieving this goal.
