In a technology driven world most of my pre-k students can navigate an iPad or iPhone, which is great, but my goal is introduce and expose them to as many hands on learning experiences that I can. I want them to learn to think for themselves through meaningful experiences. With this light table there are endless possibilities of exploration and hands on learning opportunities to be had. I can hear my pre-k students now squealing with excitement when they discover they can see through a fallen leaf on our new light table or looking at real X-rays! The magnetic tiles are the perfect addition to the light table. Not only will they build and discover with these magnets, they will be learning their colors and shapes!
