My students will be engaging in answering authentic research questions about the land and water they live close to. They will learn to use professional soil and water testing instruments and get an idea of what it's like to do real research on real issues. Once they know what the issues are in their environment, we will work to address them with student-driven solutions. In addition to learning about environmental issues and solutions, we will focus on test prep and effectively communicating those solutions. Students will always work in professional research teams, building interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
