These materials will teach students about circuits, how they work, and allow them to actually make an open or closed circuit. They will demonstrate how to make a parallel or series circuit. Technology with snap circuits is wonderful and provides a safe and engaging way for students to practice and put hands on the learning. Students need to be able to see the circuit make the light work. They need to see that a parallel circuit is different from a series circuit. These things are all around us, but hidden by walls and such that students just don't get it with just looking at a drawing.
