This project will give our students an opportunity to push themselves. When they stare at these new dumbbells and dumbbell rack, it will become a want and desire situation. If they have the option, on the rack, to push themselves and grab a 40lb dumbbell, then that turns into their mindset for the rest of the day! If my students choose to push themselves then they will also need a spotter to be safe. This encourages our students to put away their headphones and engage in conversation with their peers. This is another opportunity for them to inspire their classmates and build their confidence in helping others.
