It is my goal to create a diverse library where students are able to see themselves and others throughout the literature they see and hear. I will be sharing these books both in the classroom and remotely with my littles. It is important for my littles to see themselves in the stories shared andto begin to develop a unique sense of self, build their confidence and share their pride. Students will be exposed to a variety of diverse texts and work on special activities both in the classroom and at home to share their own unique qualities.
