Students will have the opportunity to better engage with digital curriculum content. Headphones decrease outside distractions and allow students to focus completely on the task at hand. We utilize digital content in order to increase engagement in literacy tasks and core academic content. Students utilize a screen reader in order to access core academic content through Universal Design. Headphones allow students to access their content quietly through accommodation rather than having to leave their educational environment to access content though necessary modalities. This allows students to maintain presence in their least restrictive environment with their peer group and highly qualified core content teacher.
