Flexible seating options in a classroom provide choice and motivation for students to learn. Students will be able to sit in chairs, on the floor, on stools and bean bag chairs as they read quietly in the reading center or research projects on their computers. Students will thrive in a comfortable learning environment that allows them to learn in traditional ways and non traditional ways. Providing them with and atmosphere that is both academically challenging and safe to learn with an environment that comfortable and cozy at the same time helps to create this welcoming environment. A positive, comfortable and safe classroom environment is crucial to student success.
