My students are in need of a hands-on way to practice phonics. Learning basic phonics skills allows my students to become adventurers and explorers. They are taken all over the world through the books they read. In order for every one of my students to have access to these adventures, they need to have the phonics backgrounds to allow them to do this. By providing my students with iPads, they will be able to be engaged while being presented the same information in different formats. Many students do not learn with paper and pencil activities alone. I am able to provide different, engaging activities to my students, but they are missing the aspect of technology in our classroom. These iPads would allow them to access many different resources through the use of technology in the classroom!
