We have been fortunate at WHS to have many different speakers and entrepreneurs speak and enlighten our Entrepreneurship students. Most speakers provide a suggested reading list and nearly all include "Rich Dad Poor Dad". I know the value this book can hold and how it has catapulted many entrepreneurs into financial independence. These lessons are not taught in typical high school curriculum, but these lessons are ones every student needs to learn. I would like to implement Robert Kiyosaki's book into my curriculum and improve my students' financial IQ. By providing two class sets of "Rich Dad Poor Dad" each student will be able to check out a copy for the year. We will reference and use the methodology in class frequently. My students will leave high school Entrepreneurship class far ahead of many adults in terms of their financial IQ.
